My husband and I have loved animals ever since we can remember. I grew up with dogs, and can’t imagine life without them. Their gentle, innocent spirit, and their total trust in us is disarming. I absolutely love caring for dogs. A few summers ago my family and I volunteered in Dog Town, at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, UT. My two boys (age 24 and 18) are also crazy about dogs and love to help out.

About your pet’s stay:
Your furry friends are allowed the run of the house, and are welcome on the furniture. They can sleep wherever they prefer, in their beds, on our sofas, or in their crate (per your request only). We follow your routine, so please let us know of any preferences or restrictions, both dietary and behavioral. We offer lots of treats, hugs and kisses! Our big yard is fenced in, and we always have eyes on your doggies so they are always safe. Our backyard is abutting the woods where we go for walks on trails, always on the leash. We can also take smaller walks in our quiet, pleasant neighborhood. We live a few minutes from a park, where we enjoy walks and get plenty of exercise.
Oana is a nurse by training and has experience with medication administration. We also specialize in senior dog care.
We are both retired, so your doggos are never alone for more than a couple of hours. In addition to unlimited, supervised yard time, we also provide walks.
What we need to know about your pet
We would like to know your dog’s temperament before having them board with us. Unfortunately we can’t have aggressive dogs, very bouncy ones, excessive barkers, diggers, or escape artists stay with us. All dogs must have collars with tags and be up-to-date with their vaccinations. We strongly encourage AirTags or GPS collars for additional security.
Dogs that are poor sleepers or rise significantly earlier than 7:30AM would not be a good fit. We only take dogs over 1 year old, up to 50 lbs. If your dog is bigger than 50 Ibs, we would decide on a case by case basis whether they are a good fit to board with us. We screen to ensure a happy, safe stay for everyone!
Before accepting any new guest, we do an in-person meet-and greet in our yard to assess how your dog interacts with us, our dogs, and our environment.

BOARDING – A boarding day is a 24-hour time period. Your drop-off time is your pick-up time. We give a grace period of up to 2 hours past that time.
Any pick-ups later than that will incur a daycare rate. Drop-off time is after 8 AM. Pick-up time is before 9 PM.
DAYCARE – A daycare day is up to an 8-hour time period. Any pick-ups later than that will be charged as an overnight stay. Drop-off time is after 8 AM, pick-up time is before 8 PM.
HOLIDAYS – In addition to observed holidays, we charge our holiday rate during February and April school vacations, and during the summer (May through September).
Cancellation and Refund Policy
BOARDING – Cancellations made by 12:00 noon on the day before the booking starts receive a full refund. Cancellations made after that time will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking, and a full refund for the remainder.
DAYCARE – Cancellations made before the daycare date receive a full refund. Same day cancellations do not receive a refund.
